CloudArmor Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Apex Cricketer mobile application and website (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our Service:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, username, password (hashed), date of birth, and profile picture.
  • Cricket Profile: Role (batsman/bowler/etc.), batting style, bowling style, preferred ball type, city, country.
  • Match Data: Match scores, ball-by-ball data, player statistics, team affiliations, tournament participation.
  • Location Data: City and country for match/tournament filtering. GPS location is requested only when explicitly used for venue mapping.
  • Device Information: FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token for push notifications, device model, OS version.
  • Usage Data: App features accessed, matches created, interactions with other players.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide match scoring, tournament management, and player statistics.
  • To send push notifications about matches, tournaments, and messages.
  • To improve the app experience and add new features.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud.
  • To communicate with you about updates and support.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Other Users: Your public profile (name, stats, matches) is visible to other Apex Cricketer users as part of the social cricket experience.
  • Service Providers: AWS (database hosting), Cloudflare R2 (image storage), Firebase (push notifications and auth).
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including JWT authentication, HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure token storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the mobile app, or by emailing [email protected]. Upon deletion:

  • Your personal data (email, phone, profile) is removed from our systems.
  • Your match statistics and tournament records are anonymized but preserved to maintain integrity of other players' history.
  • You will no longer be able to log in using your credentials.

6. Permissions We Request

  • Location: For venue mapping and city-based match filtering. Optional.
  • Camera / Photo Library: To upload profile pictures and team logos. Optional.
  • Notifications: To alert you about matches, tournaments, and messages. Optional.
  • Internet: Required for all app functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
